Mechanically separated beef is produced from USDA slaughtered cattle. It shall consist of meat, which has been removed from skeletal carcass, bones and trimmings. It may contain small amounts of attached fat and connective tissue. Product is produced for Pet Food production only.

Origin: USA Color: Pink to Red – No greening or other off colors Aroma: Typical of fresh beef, with no decomposed, putrid, rancid or non-typical objectionable “off” odors. Physical: Free from evidence of infestation of foreign material as per 21 CFR 121
Bulk Shipment – Prior to loading, trailers must be inspected for sanitary conditions and foreign matter. Bulk trailers must be dedicated to food or feed use. Product is stored in cold storage prior to shipping at a temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Each nude block has a weight of about 55lbs. Pallet is loaded at 36 blocks total in a 6 x 6 TI-HI configuration with an approximate weight of 2,000lbs.
Material to remain acceptable for use 18 months from the date of manufacture.
The temperature of frozen products at the time of delivery should be 0° Fahrenheit or less.
